Accomplishments over the past year include:

Development of the concept and implementation of a distributed portal -- meeting our users where they are.  We have a presence in Second Life, Facebook, Flickr, Google Buzz, Twitter so far.

Development and implementation of a system of recognitions and awards for users of the main portal site.  This solution is in testing and already shared with SMILE and is available for other Pathway sites.

We continue to push the Drupal CMS capabilities.

We consider our site a "community center" and encourage groups to form and conduct their communication and record keeping through the site.  We are pleased with the number of groups that are taking advantage of this opportunity.

Tools such as Walden's Path and the TECH library of computing education tools are integrated into the site.

Social navigation through indications of usage levels come from our colleagues at Pitt.
