Climate Literacy Network (CLEAN) offers webinar on energy and sustainability: May 15...

The Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN) Pathway project invites you to participate in the final offering of our Spring 2012 series of interactive webinars to support secondary teachers who teach about climate and energy.

For middle and high school teachers, join us for a two hour interactive webinar on Tuesday, May 15th: Making informed choices about energy and sustainability. Our presenters are Dr. John Turner, a hydrogen energy specialist from the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), and Kristen Record, an award-winning high school physics teacher from Connecticut.

Together they will address the roles of science and society in making informed energy choices, share their experiences working together in Dr. Turner's lab, and highlight a variety of teaching resources from the CLEAN collection that speak to energy and sustainability.

Time: 4-6 pm Pacific | 5-7 pm Mountain | 6-8 pm Central | 7-9 pm Eastern
