Instructional Planning and Activity Types as Vehicles for Curriculum Based-TPACK Development

A journal article written by Judi Harris and Mark Hoffer from the School of Education, College of William and Mary in Virginia.   The article discusses the intersection of content, pedagogical, and technological knowledge (TPACK) and a framework to provide teacher professional development that addresses all three of these aspects in a systematic way.   By focusing on activity types and learning goals first, decisions on modes and uses of technology follow these decisions for more effective use of technology and learning.
