The National Science Digital Library Repository (NDR) was built on the Fedora Commons Repository software. Three of the primary projects included the repository API to connect to the repository, harvest for populating the collections, and search for discovery of resources. In addition to the nsdl.org website, there were many other projects to augment and integrate with the library including development toolkits, educational tools, content management software, blogging and wiki systems with custom plugins, etc.
