Projects: Overview

NSF-funded projects that include NSDL Pathways and others currently use the NCore platform to meet the needs of their communities. The eight use cases sketched out on these pages demonstrate the flexibility of the NCore data model for a variety of digital library projects with a variety of missions. These demonstrations include examples from educational organizations and institutions focused on establishing specialized digital collections, conducting educational research, and, or providing students, teachers and instructors with discipline-oriented pedagogical products and tools to jump start innovation in teaching and learning. These descriptions of NCore projects include brief organizational profiles, explanations of how NCore is being utilized to create access to and context for repository resources and links to projects sites where available.
