PALE:Home
From NSDLWiki
Welcome to the Primary Articles Learning Environment (PALE)*, a classroom-ready instructional space within the National Science Digital Library to connect research and education.
Two PALE models offer alternative approaches to research paper based STEM instruction. “Classic Articles in Context,” covers significant scientific problems and achievements spanning decades using landmark and important legacy papers. “Timely Teaching” features current articles that investigate high-profile contemporary and emerging problems. Both models offer topical issues that include research articles in full text, interpretive content appropriate for undergraduate courses, and functionality for users to comment on or contribute to the resource. Narrative sections include discussion questions and hyperlinks to select resources within the NSDL central repository and/or the NSDL Pathways Collections.
