Future Directions
An ongoing forum for the Future Directions discussion begun at the 2010 NSDL Annual Meeting.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) announced in mid-February 2011 that it will not continue to support NSDL as a funding program within the Division of Undergraduate Education, Directorate for Undergraduate Education, as of September 30, 2011.
This forum provides a point for community exploration and discussion of opportunities for NSDL's transition to a viable future configuration as a collaborative dedicated to advancing STEM education through technology-enabled delivery of teaching and learning resources, collections, tools and services, outreach, professional development, and partnership building.
