A MetadataProvider for each feed

  • Example: Bob's Connotea tags would be one feed.
  • Or even: Bob's Connotea "frogs" tags
  • side note: the MetadataProvider also holds SyndIS data.

(SyndIS is the proposed renaming of RSSIA - Syndication Ingest Service) Tim says: Each RSS feed (or OAI feed) is represented by a MetadataProvider. Add a datastream to the MetadataProvider with XML that holds the harvest info Lynette suggests 2 datastreams: one to hold user-provided setup info, the other to hold history and scheduling info Does this sound good? How do we secure this info?
