Is there a glass window type pane that can be walked on safely?

Yes. Generally speaking the thicker the glass the more sturdy it will be. This is not quite entirely true, but it is a good generalization.
Think about visiting your local zoo. Maybe you have a gorilla exhibit or maybe a bear exhibit. These animals are likely behind a sheet of special strong glass. The gorillas or bears or whatever are not able to break the glass, so you would most definitely be able to walk on it.
