Title: Who invented the first airplane?

Information: The Wright Brothers, Orville and William, are credited with building the first powered airplane that successfully completed the world's first sustained flight. The flight took place at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17, 1903. The entire first flight went 120 feet and lasted less than a minute. The Wright Brothers' craft had a propulsion system, or gas-fueled engine, which differentiated it from earlier aircrafts, called "gliders." Sir George Cayley, however, is known as the "Father of Aerial Navigation." In 1804, he flew a model airplane, which had a design that was similar to modern aircrafts.
