Title: I was wondering if you could help me find information about the elements of the periodic table.

Information: The elements are a great topic, and there are plenty of places to find reliable information about them. You may want to ask your school librarian; many times there are specific reference books in your library on the elements of the periodical table. Also, a good idea is to look your element up in the encyclopedia, to give yourself some background information on it. There are some excellent Internet resources on elements, too. First I went to Yahooligans! and clicked through Science & Nature, to Physical Sciences, then to Chemistry, to end up here: http://www.yahooligans.com/science_and_nature/physical_sciences/chemistry/Periodic_Tables/ Here are some of the resources listed at Yahooligans! Periodic Table of the Elements A Resource for Elementary, Middle School, and High School Students. Click an element for more information. http://periodic.lanl.gov/ Chemicool Periodic Table Click on the element you want or enter it into the search box for specifics on that element. http://www.chemicool.com/ The Visual Periodic Table Warning: Uses heavy graphics. Puts a symbol for each element of the table--click on it for more information. http://www.chemsoc.org/viselements/pages/periodic_table.html Chemical Elements.com An interactive periodic table that gives you info on each of the elements. http://www.chemicalelements.com/ While these two aren't listed on the Yahooligans! site, they are also very helpful resources: Chem4Kids The site talks about the first 18 elements. http://www.chem4kids.com/files/elem_intro.html WebElementsTM periodic table Scholar edition http://www.webelements.com/webelements/scholar/index.html Hope this helps in your search!
