October webinar: Supporting Vision and Change through ESA's EcoEd Digital Library Resources
The EcoEd Digital Library—a project of the Ecological Society of America (ESA) and a collaborator of NSDL's BioscienceEdNet (BEN) Pathway—is conducting a series of webinars for the science education community.
The first webinar is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, at 3 pm ET: Supporting Vision and Change through ESA's Digital Library Resources. Led by Jen Rhode Ward, ESA Education Scholar, the webinar will summarize key elements of the Vision and Change report released in 2011 by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and explore how EcoEd DL resources demonstrate and support Vision and Change principles.
Participants will have the opportunity to help ESA identify additional resource topics applicable to Vision and Change goals for undergraduate audiences in introductory to advanced ecology classrooms, as well as learn how to submit your own resources to EcoEd DL.
Register online by October 10. Contact Celia Smith with questions.
