PolarTREC - Teachers and Researchers Exploring and Collaborating is currently accepting applications from teachers and researchers for the fifth year of teacher research experiences during the 2011 (usually Arctic) or 2011-2012 (usually Antarctic) field seasons.

The 2nd ERCIM-DIS Workshop on Large Scale & Federated Information Spaces will take place on Thursday 20 May 2010 at CWI in the Netherlands. ERCIM is the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics, composed of leading research institutes from twenty European countries.  CWI is Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica.
