The following information was prepared in Fall 2009 in response to a series of questions posed by the National Science Foundation's Education and Human Resources (EHR) Directorate, Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE), as background for an NSDL Committee of Visitors meeting at NSF, in December 2009.
