Projects: NSDL

The National Science Digital Library (NSDL) is the best example of how the NCore platform enables educational developers and users as contributors of STEM knowledge with services provided at NSDL.org. NSDL was created by the National Science Foundation to provide organized access to high quality resources and tools that support innovations in teaching and learning at all levels of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. NSDL provides an organized point of access to STEM content that is aggregated from a variety of other digital libraries, NSF-funded projects, and NSDL-reviewed web sites using the NCS and OAI-PMH Harvest. NSDL also provides access to Expert Voices blogs and NSDL wikis to enhance the use and recontextualization of content.
