My daughter just came "off the ice" from Antarctica about a week ago. She has witnessed (not as a scientist, but as support staff) the scientific explorations going on at McMurdo Station. She set up a website for my 1st grade students and answered their questions from there. It was very interesting. She plans to return to Antarctica next fall. How timely for me!
