Question

what kind of soil does corn grow in? Thank you, Ben

Answer

Corn will grow in nearly any kind of soil but a good balance of loam, sand, and clay give the best results (similar to the top soil that you might buy at a home and garden shop). This soil has a good capacity to hold nutrients and water but allows drainage. The soil should also be slightly acidic.
