Question

what mathenatic formula is used to calculate the mass of a sphere?

Answer

The mass would be (4/3)*pi*r^3*rho, where

pi() = the circular constant, approximately 3.1415926
r = the radius of the sphere, and
rho = the density of the sphere

If the radius is in centimeters, the density should be in grams per cubic centimeter, for instance. http://vrd.askvrd.org/services/answerschema.xml
