How long do you have to be in school to become a math teacher and how does it feel to be a math teacher?

Thank you for asking your question about becoming a Math teacher. It's good to see that as a grade eight student you are already looking at possible career choices. In order to help you with your question I went to the Google search engine –http://www.google.ca Once at this site, I typed in University of Alberta Faculty of Education. This took me to the search page. Click on the first heading item—Faculty of Education-Faculty of Education-University of. This will take you to the Faculty of Education site. Click on Prospective Students-Undergraduate Programs. Once on this page go to Links and click on Admissions. From here there is a Programs of Study link. Click on Education and this page describes requirements and degrees offered in Elementary or Secondary routes and gives Career Opportunities. If you go to the left yellow rectangle box there is a link to Registration and Courses that will provide you with more information about courses offered in this program. There are many links on this Faculty of Education site to find information on any questions you may have. Just click on the different links to find what you need. You can also contact the Administration office to ask further information at: PH.
