Question

How come Albert Einstein was so smart? What made him so smart? Thanks (again), Jesse E.

Answer

Jesse, That's a tough one. Who knows what makes some people smarter than others? A lot of people think Einstein must have been born a genius, and while I believe that's true, I also think there's more to it than that. He was also willing (and able) to think differently than every one else and was able to ignore, or at least learned to live with, people who criticized him for going against the grain and proposing theories that were counter to accepted ideas. For instance, his theory of relativity seemed to contradict some of the accepted "laws" of physics. He was able to think deeply about concepts that no one else was able to imagine.
