How are NSDL Policies made?

Answer

The NSDL currently has a Policy Committee that advises NSF grantees and the NSF on operational strategies, policies and implementation priorities. Among these policies are ones that define the NSDL "community" and determine any constraints on NSDL usage and contents that are necessary to ensure that its mission is fulfilled. The Policy Committee coordinates the activities of Standing Committees, Subcommittees, Taskforces, etc., and individual projects.
