Question

How much sperm is in the human body?

Answer

Graham, I would venture to guess that sperm is a made-on-demand item whose volumn varies around a 1/4 teaspoon. When that amount is depleted, the body makes more. It's not the amount that counts, it the speed of the individual sperm cells on their way to the egg that count. The one that gets there first wins.
