Answer

Hi. What a great question. I had never heard about Campylobacteriosis before and it was really interesting for me to research this topic.

First, I went to my local public library website

<A href=http://www.durhamcountylibrary.org" target=_BLANK>http://www.durhamcountylibrary.org/

which has recommended websites. I clicked on the link for health and looked through their databases for the ones that looked the most relevant and that were from a reliable source, such as the government or a non-biased not-for-profit. It is always important to look at who is providing the information when searching the Internet.

A search on the Healthfinder database

<A href=http://www.healthfinder.gov" target=_BLANK>http://www.healthfinder.gov/

brought me to this website

<A href=http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/foodbornedis.htm" target=_BLANK>http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/foodbornedis.htm

on food borne diseases, including Campylobacteriosis.

I also searched the MedicineNet website, suggested by my library,

www.medicinenet.com

and found three links. They are all very detailed and should provide you with a lot of information for your project. I just typed Campylobacteriosis into the search box to find the links.

Lastly, I typed Campylobacteriosis into Google and looked at the results I got. One that I really liked for the information it gave me was

<A href=http://www.health.state.ny.us/nysdoh/communicable_diseases/en/camplyo.htm" target=_BLANK>http://www.health.state.ny.us/nysdoh/communicable_diseases/
en/camplyo.htm

I hope this helps you with your project. If you have any more questions, your local public library will have books and other information there to help with your project. I'm sure the reference librarians would like to answer your questions. You are also welcome to post another question to this site.

Thanks,

Jennifer L.
VRD service
http://vrd.askvrd.org/services/answerschema.xml
