Hi Johnathan, Thank you for submitting your question. I started my search at a general web search engine such as Google http://www.google.com. I used the term stroke to search. Here are samples of two web sites I found: Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada http://ww2.heartandstroke.ca/Page.asp?PageID=24 This indepth and detailed web site provides basic information on the anatomy of the brain. Also includes information on how stroke can occur and important warning signs that can occur before a stroke occurs. I also checked MEDLINEPlus, a resource created by the National Institutes of Health and the National Library of Medicine. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003853.htm From the homepage, I entered the term STROKE in the search box. I then chose the listed for STROKE. This site gives a lot of information about how strokes occur, the symptoms of a stroke and how they can effect the brain after a stroke. You may also want to contact the librarian at your local library. He/she can assist you in finding other great resources as well. I hope this helps get you started!
