Question

Can you explain the phenomena of musical pleasure? How do physical soundwaves translate into pleasure? What part of a person's psyche is affected by music?

Answer

Music is found to stimulate areas of the brain for memory, language, and other things, including emotion. This is likely the cause for pleasure from listening to music. The right side of the brain is affected by music and music is also found to stimulate learning in some cases.
