Question

how do fish breath under water do they have little fish pals

Answer

How do fish breathe? Most fish breathe underwater, but most do not breathe directly into their lungs like you & I do, or even like my pet cat does. Instead, fish remove oxygen from water as it passes over their "gills." Gills are a system of extremely fine membranes, which contain a network of fine blood vessels (capillaries) that take up the oxygen and diffuse it through the membranes. Do fish have little fish pals? Yes, in more ways than one. Many fish swim in schools with other fish (some of whom may be their relatives). Lots of fish have parasites and small invertebrates that hang out on or near the fish, too. So, yes, fish have little pals!
