Question

When did the dinosaurs live? When did the first mammals live? When did the first people live? Asked by Nicholas

Answer

The dinosaurs lived during the Triassic Period (248-208 Million Years ago), the Jurassic Period (208-146 Million Years ago), and the Cretaceous Period (146-65 Million Years ago). The last dinosaurs died out about 65 Million Years ago. The first mammals appeared during the Triassic Period (about 220 Million Years ago) and depending how you define a human, the first humans did not appear until about 8 million to about 50,000 years ago. Homo sapiens were thought to have appeared about 100,000 years ago.
