Question

I have an hourglass and the sand no longer flows. What can I do to make it flow?

Answer

It may be that your hourglass is no longer airtight and that moisture has made it impossible for the sand to flow properly. You might try using a dehumidifier to remove the moisture. I you live in an area with high humidity, this may prove to be a constant problem. Discovering where the moisture enters the hourglass and resealing it would help.

THE HOURGLASS <br /&gthttp://www.uh.edu/engines/epi1469.htm

This site says:
