Question

What keeps the elecrtons attracted to the nucleus?

Answer

HI, Electrons are negatively charged particles and nucleus contain protons that are equal in number to the elctrons and opposite in charge. So, these negative particles (electrons) rotating around nucleus are held towards it by the positive charge of the nuclues formed due to protons. Also proves that Opposite attracts !!!!!!!!!!!!hope this helps, sunita http://vrd.askvrd.org/services/answerschema.xml
