Question

do all graphs occur in a real life situation?

Answer

The only graphs that don't occur in real life are those that describe imaginary numbers. All other graphs occur in real life. The graph is the most useful system in mathematics. You should be able to look at a graph and tell at a glance what mathematic equation created that graph. For example, if you see a graph that looks like a "V", the mathematical equation for this would be x to the 2nd power. All equations you see can be converted to a graph and the other way around. Graphing is also a very good way to check your work.

I hope that this answers your question http://vrd.askvrd.org/services/answerschema.xml
