Question

i NEED TO KNOW WHAT A GEOMETRIC SERIES IS AND WHAT BASIC FUNCTIONS IS RELATED TO THIS

Answer

A geometric series is a sum of the form a + a*r + a*r*r + a*r*r + ... Each term is r times the previous term. If you terminate the sum after a finite number of terms, say after n terms, so the last term is a*r^(n-1), then the sum is a*(1-r^n)/(1-r). If the series does not terminate, then the sum is a/(1-r) as long as |r| < 1. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/GeometricSeries.html series geometric series http://vrd.askvrd.org/services/answerschema.xml
